About me

Samantha Ann Mercado, Doula, CLC

My Philosophy

I believe first and foremost that every person, no matter who or where they are from, has the basic human right to be loved, supported and encouraged in every aspect of life, especially when it comes to pregnancy and childbirth.  Through support, respect and educated informed decision making, every person can have the birth experience they deserve. Whether at home, hospital, or birth center I will be by your side.

"I SUPPORT you in your decisions on how YOU want to birth"
My Story

I have loved my life and where it has taken me so far. I could never have imagined going the places I have over the years. My life really took a turn after spending time volunteering at a refugee camp in Greece at a mother and infant space. I found myself so moved and inspired by the mothers and fellow volunteers alike that I have turned my life upside down. I have now embarked on this exciting new journey and could not be more excited for this next chapter. I may not be a mother but I am a daughter, sister, aunt, friend, someone who cares, and now a Doula.
